Refund / Return / Cancellation Policy

This policy sets out how cancellations and refunds work for ShearIQ subscriptions.

1) Cancellations

  • You can cancel anytime via [Account Settings path/link].
  • Unless stated otherwise at checkout, cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period (monthly or annual).
  • You will retain access until the end of the paid period.

2) Change-of-mind refunds

Unless required by law, we do not generally provide refunds for change of mind or unused time remaining in a billing period (for example, if you stop using the app part-way through the month/year).

3) Service issues and consumer rights

If there is a fault with the Services and you are entitled to a remedy under New Zealand consumer law, we will work with you to resolve it (which may include a refund, credit, or other remedy depending on the circumstances).

To report an issue, email [support@sheariq.co.nz] with:

  • your account email,
  • a description of the issue (screenshots helpful), and
  • the date/time it occurred.

4) Billing errors and duplicate charges

If you believe you were charged incorrectly (including duplicate charges), contact us within [14 days] of the charge. If confirmed, we will refund the incorrect amount to the original payment method where possible.

5) How refunds are processed

  • Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method where possible.
  • Refund timing depends on your bank and payment provider, typically [3–10 business days].
